Gondpipari Municipal Council is a local self-governing body responsible for the administration and development of Gondpipari town. The Gondpipari Municipal Council was established on 17th June 2015. The establishment of the Panchayat Samiti Gondpipri was in 1959, and the Panchayat Samiti comprises 06 Panchayat Samiti Groups and 03 Zilla Parishad Divisions. In Gondpipri taluka, there are two pilgrimage sites: Dhaba and Kultha. The taluka's boundary is adjacent to Gadchiroli district and the state of Telangana. The Vainaganga, Wardha, and Andhari rivers flow through the taluka. Additionally, the Kanhalgaon area in the taluka has been recognized as a sanctuary by the government.
